This 36-inch-by-27-inch student desk with a hutch and side CPU shelf packs lots of workspace and storage into a small--and very hip--footprint. What's more, its asymmetric reversible design allows for customizing according to a young scholar's changing needs. The hutch comes with four small side shelves and two wide shelves at top and bottom. The bottom shelf can either be installed low to support a desktop monitor with a keyboard underneath, or it can go above to make room for a laptop. The desk has two adjustable shelves below the workspace and a 17-inch CPU shelf that extends out from the side. It's like a big puzzle! Conveniently placed cutouts provide concealed cable management for a tidy appearance. excellent desk : Legare 36-Inch Student Desk with Hutch, Red and Black
I purchased this desk for the whole family to use. I had a small space and this desk was perfect. The desk top workspace area is large adequate to accomodate a flatscreen monitor (possible 19" max), keyboard & mouse plus some workspace. I would not recommend a regular monitor. A laptop is excellent for a learner workplace & learning too. The shelves are not deep adequate for a large size printer. It is very sturdy when asembled and equipment/items are placed on it. Unfortunately it took me more than 3 minutes to assemble but that's okay I ended up with the excellent desk for my family and student.
